Bio:
Hi everyone! I’m Zoe, a third-year medical student from New York. Since September 2023, I have been doing my clinical rotations at North Middlesex University Hospital and in March 2024, I became an Internal Medicine Student Mentor. I am particularly interested in a career in Internal Medicine and hope to combine this with humanitarian work through organizations such as Doctors Without Borders.
Becoming an Internal Medicine Student Mentor has been a rewarding opportunity for me. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to support and guide fellow students, helping them navigate both the demands of the IM rotation, as well studying medicine in a new country. Being a student mentor has not only boosted my own confidence as a future physician but it also allowed me to contribute to a program that I was grateful to have available during my IM rotation.
When I’m not studying or facilitating teachings, I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling to new countries. So whether you need advice on how to succeed during your time in the UK or even a few travel recommendations, I am always available to chat. I look forward to positively contributing to an already strong community of SGU students at North Mid and I am grateful to play even a small role in your journey towards becoming a great physician.
